Privacy policy

PewPewLife ("we", "the app") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, how long we keep it, how to delete it, and your rights.

• Account: email, username, password (hashed), bio, profile photo (optional).
• Shooting activity: sessions you log (discipline, score, date, place, optional photos), guns in your rack.
• Social: friends, likes, comments, messages, challenges you join.
• Technical: crashes and errors (Sentry), push tokens if you enable notifications.

• Run the app (feed, stats, friends, messages).
• Improve stability (crash analysis).
• Notify you (likes, comments, invites) — only if you opt in.

We do not sell your data. No behavioral ad targeting, no third-party ad network.

Your data is stored on Supabase (European Union, Frankfurt). Crashes go to Sentry.

• Account and activity: account data, sessions, guns and social content (friends, likes, comments, messages, challenges) as well as notification tokens are kept for as long as the account exists. They are erased from our servers as soon as the account is deleted (see SEC.07).
• Backups: encrypted backup copies may remain for up to 30 days after deletion, before permanent purge.
• Crash reports (Sentry): kept for a maximum of 90 days, then automatically deleted.
• Website analytics (Google Analytics): 14 months.
• Vault: documents (licence, medical certificate, ID) are stored on your device only and never transmitted to our servers.

The website pew-pew-life.com (only the website, not the mobile app) uses Google Analytics 4 to measure audience (page views, traffic sources, visit duration, country). Data is anonymized (truncated IP, anonymize_ip).

• No tracking cookies are set until you accept via the consent banner shown on your first visit.
• If you decline or ignore the banner, no data is sent to Google.
• You can change your choice anytime from the Preferences page.
• Strictly necessary technical cookies only (session, preferences) — exempt from consent (CNIL guidelines).

Legal basis: your explicit consent (GDPR art. 6.1.a). GA data retention: 14 months.

• Access your data from the app (profile, sessions).
• Edit or delete your sessions and profile.
• Delete your entire account directly from the app or by email (see SEC.07).
• Export your data or lodge a complaint with the CNIL: write to contact@pew-pew-life.com.

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time, in two ways:

• From the app: open the Profile tab, scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete my account". After a double confirmation, your account and all your data (sessions, guns, messages, friends, comments, challenges) are immediately and permanently deleted from our servers. This action is irreversible.
• By email: write to contact@pew-pew-life.com from your account's email address. The request is handled within 30 days at most.

Vault documents are stored on your device only and are therefore not affected by this server-side deletion: remove them from the vault or uninstall the app. Any residual encrypted backups are purged within 30 days.

PewPewLife is for adults (18+).
